At least we're better than Mississippi, West VA, Alabama, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Tennessee

This post is mainly meant to be a provocateur for Steve. State obesity rankings are in.
So my question is this: what's it like to be a vegetarian in the fattest state in the union?

What a great pic! Reminds me of a watermelon or pie eating contest at a fair. Ironic, isn't it - these beasts are eating grass...wonder what their lean to fat ratio is.

The Southerners hold that Rebel flag high!

They put fat into just about everything down here! Which is fine, and understandable. Sometimes I wonder if people may as well just eat from the tub of lard....the good qualities have been taken out of everything they're eating.

But really, the problem (as you know, I'm sure) is more than just diet. I think it has much to due with the lack of availability of parks, and the lack of sidewalks.

As far as being a vegetarian in the fattest state in the union....it's hard, I've stopped asking how food is made or what with. It is funny though--sometimes I just want to rip food out of peoples hands!
